Our retreat is designed for individuals seeking peace, connection, and tools to navigate the complexities of grief. Guided by experienced holistic grief practitioners and counsellors, you will embark on a transformative journey towards healing.

Meet your Grief Retreat Facilitator
Melissa Lindsay is the founder of Holistic Grief Wellness, and through the heartbreaking and sudden loss of her husband who passed in 2021, she gained a new sense of purpose in her life, to help fellow grievers through their grieving process and healing journey. Melissa was able to turn her pain and devastation into a renewed sense of passion and purpose, and now dedicates herself and her work within the grief space.
After the loss of her husband, she struggled to find suitable retreats purely focused on grief and loss which offered a range of holistic healing modalities hosted by grief and loss qualified/trained facilitators. So, she was determined to create a safe, supportive, nurturing, and sacred environment to help grievers feel, express, process, and shift their grief, as well as provide a retreat focused on self-care specifically after loss. Melissa focuses on the mind, body, and spirit connection, and brings grievers together to share their stories of loss within a collective grief group.
Melissa is a qualified Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapist and Group Facilitator, Creative Arts Therapist and Group Facilitator, Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Holistic Grief Counsellor, and certified Sound and Vibrational Healing Practitioner. She is a compassionate, kind, supportive, and authentic facilitator who understands the impact a profound loss can have on all aspects of your life, the complexities of grief, and the emotional rollercoaster and jumbled stages of grief. Yet she has pulled herself up from the darkest days of her life and has harnessed the ability to use her inner resources and holistic tools to guide her through her own grief and healing journey and guide fellow grievers through theirs.
